The Vivo X300 Ultra is one of the most anticipated phones of 2026. While previous-generation models have remained exclusive to the Chinese market, the X300 Ultra is expected to launch globally, including in India. In a new development, its global variant has surfaced on an important certification platform. At the same time, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed key details about its display and design.
All about the Vivo X300 Ultra
According to Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X300 Ultra’s engineering prototype features a large 6.82-inch flat OLED display supplied by Chinese manufacturer BOE. The panel supports a 2K resolution and offers symmetrical narrow bezels on all four sides, possibly achieved using LIPO technology, which helps reduce bezel thickness and improve screen uniformity.
He added that the X300 Ultra adopts a flat metal frame, removes the dedicated camera button, and features a large circular rear camera module with a protrusion similar to the previous-generation Vivo X200 Ultra. The overall lens layout appears largely unchanged, although the periscope camera has reportedly shifted to the opposite side.
In terms of cameras, rumours suggest that the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature an all-new Sony LYT-901 200MP primary camera, paired with a LYT-828 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera. For selfies, the device is expected to house a 50MP front-facing camera.
Other reports indicate that the Vivo X300 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and pack a large 7,000mAh battery. Additional features are said to include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, Android 16 with OriginOS 6, and an IP68/69-rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis.
Vivo X300 Ultra global version spotted
Recently, the Vivo X300 Ultra was spotted with the model number V2562 in the IMEI database. The same device has also received approval from Europe’s EEC certification platform, further hinting at an imminent global launch.
Reports suggest that the Vivo X300 Ultra will be announced in China in March 2026. The global markets may receive the device either in the same month or sometime in the second quarter of 2026.
