Vivo has just announced the all-new Vivo X200 Ultra, that sits above the Vivo X200 Pro, in the Chinese market. The Ultra model brings a few notable changes and upgrades, including a different chipset and a sharper screen. But what’s the exact difference between the two? Let’s find out in this Vivo X200 Ultra vs X200 Pro showdown.

Vivo X200 Ultra vs X200 Pro: Design and display

The Vivo X200 Ultra and the X200 Pro look very similar, however, the X200 Ultra has a patterned back, featuring vertical strips. The X200 Ultra has a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 2K resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels. It has a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness.

The X200 Pro, on the other hand, gets a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and support for 120Hz refresh rate. Both phones have a glass sandwich design, with a glass back and front and an aluminium side frame.

Coming to the cameras, both the X200 Ultra and the X200 Pro feature a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor, a 200MP periscope sensor, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor.

Upfront, there’s a 50MP camera on the X200 Ultra, whereas the X200 Pro gets a 32MP camera. Both phones can shoot 8K videos at up to 30fps and 4K videos at up to 120fps. Given that, the camera system isn’t really different in both the phones.

One of the major differences between the two is the performance. Both are powered by a flagship chipset, with the X200 Ultra getting a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and the X200 Pro having the Dimensity 9400 SoC.

Both also have up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. As for storage, the X200 Ultra gets up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, whereas the X200 Pro gets up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

In terms of battery, the duo packs a large 6,000mAh battery with 90W wired charging. The X200 Ultra gets 40W wireless charging support, whereas the X200 Pro gets 30W wireless charging support.

Other than this, both phones have the same set of connectivity options. This includes 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS support. Both also have an in-display fingerprint scanner for security, and run Android 15 OS out of the box.

Overall, both phones are quite similar. However, the major differences between the two are in performance, display, and fast charging. It’s a choice of Snapdragon vs Dimensity, paired with a sharper screen and faster wireless charging.
