Vivo X300 series with Zeiss cameras, photographer kit may launch soon in India

Vivo is gearing up to launch the X300 series in the Indian market, and it has already started teasing the product. What’s interesting is that the series may come with a photographer kit, which includes a dedicated zoom lens that you can attach to the camera module, just like DSLRs and mirrorless cameras. Intrigued? Here’s all you need to know about the Vivo X300 series.

Vivo X300 launch timeline

The Vivo X300 series is already official in China, and it’s not making its way to India. Vivo India has confirmed the launch and also revealed its design, along with the photographer kit. Both the Vivo X300 Pro and the vanilla X300 are coming to India, and they’ll be premium flagships rivalling the Oppo Find X9 series, OnePlus 15, and the iPhones and Samsungs.

Unfortunately, Vivo hasn’t revealed the exact release date of the X300 series, but we expect it to go official by the end of November or in December. Expect the X300 Pro to touch a lakh, just like the X200 Pro.

Vivo X300 key features and highlights

Out of the two, the Vivo X300 Pro will be the most spec’d out. Globally, it has a 6.58-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits of peak brightness. It features a triple-rear camera system with a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide unit, and a new 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto camera.

Performance-wise, it gets the Dimesity 9500 chipset, which is equivalent to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It has faster UFS 4.1 storage and LPDDR5X RAM. The Pro model also gets a 6,510mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless fast charging.
