Vivo Y21 5G, Y11 5G with 120Hz display, Dimensity 6300 SoC launched in India

Vivo has launched two new Y-series smartphones in India today. These are the Vivo Y21 5G and Y11 5G. Both devices nearly share the same specifications apart from camera, charging, and design differences. Read on to know what the latest Vivo Y-series phones offer out of the box. 

Vivo Y21 5G and Y11 5G specifications and pricing

The Vivo Y21 5G has a non-pro iPhone-like design with a pill-shaped island on the back panel. It has a 50MP primary sensor paired with a secondary sensor. Meanwhile, the Y11 5G features a squarish camera module with a single 13MP snapper. Both phones have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button.

Now, coming to the similarities, the Vivo Y21 5G and Y11 5G have a large 6.74-inch screen bearing an HD+ resolution. They offer a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1,200 nits peak brightness for smooth and brighter display experience. The devices are IP65-rated dust and splash resistance along with military-grade certified shock resistant. 

Internally, the Vivo Y21 5G and Y11 5G are powered by a Dimensity 6300 SoC. The former packs up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage while the latter is only available in 4GB option. Both phones are backed by a 6,500mAh battery cell with the Y21 5G maxing out at 44W charging and the Y11 5G supporting 15W. The devices ship with OriginOS 6-based Android 16 with AI features including Gemini integration. 

The Vivo Y21 5G starts at Rs 18,999 for the 4GB + 128GB option. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB configurations are priced at Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999. The Vivo Y11 5G costs Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 for 64GB and 128GB storage models respectively. Vivo Y21 5G is eligible for up to Rs 1,500 instant cashback whereas the Y11 5G gets up to Rs 1,000 cashback on select bank cards.
