Vivo T5x 5G launches with 120Hz display and massive 7,200mAh battery

Vivo has introduced the Vivo T5x 5G in India, marking the arrival of the first smartphone in the company’s T5 series this year. The new device brings a focus on battery capacity, updated performance hardware, and a high refresh rate display. Continue reading to know everything about the T5x.

Vivo T5x 5G: Specs and features

The Vivo T5x 5G features a 6.76-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2408 × 1080 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach up to 1,200 nits peak brightness, offering smoother scrolling and better outdoor visibility.

Powering the phone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Turbo processor built on a 4nm process. The handset is available with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It houses a massive 7,200mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging and reverse charging.

In terms of photography, the Vivo T5x 5G includes a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor accompanied by a 2MP depth camera. On the front, the phone features a 32MP punch-hole camera designed for selfies and video calls. Both cameras support 4K video recording.

The T5x runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 out of the box and is expected to receive two years of Android upgrades along with four years of security updates. For security, it includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device also carries IP68 and IP69+ ratings for dust and water resistance and has MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.

Vivo T5x 5G: Price and availability

The Vivo T5x 5G has been launched in three configurations in India. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at Rs 18,999. The 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants are priced at Rs 20,999 and Rs 22,999, respectively. Scheduled to hit the market by March 24, the T5x will be available in two colour options called Star Silver and Cyber Green.

Buyers of the Vivo T5x 5G can receive an instant discount of up to Rs 2,000 when making the purchase using HDFC, Axis, or SBI bank cards, as well as eligible UPI transactions. The offer is also accompanied by up to six months of no-cost EMI options.

Additionally, customers can get complimentary access to 10 premium OTT apps for six months when recharging with the Rs 1,199 Jio prepaid plan.
