Vivo showcased the Vivo X300 Ultra, its ultimate camera flagship phone, at MWC 2026. The device is expected to debut first in China, followed by other markets in the coming months. A new leak has seemingly revealed the China launch date of the much-awaited X300 Ultra, which indicates that its arrival could be only a few days away.
Vivo X300 Ultra launch date tipped
According to Chinese tipster Bald Panda, Vivo could hold a launch event in China toward the end of March. Although the leak did not directly mention the device name, the post referenced an “Ultra” model, which strongly suggests the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra.
It appears that the Vivo X300 Ultra could debut on March 30. The suggested timeline appears consistent with Vivo’s earlier flagship launches. For instance, the Vivo X200 Ultra was announced on April 21, 2025, while the Vivo X100 Ultra debuted on May 13, 2024. Both of these launches took place on a Monday, and March 30 also falls on the same day of the week.
Other products expected at the event
The upcoming launch event may feature more than one device. Reports suggest that Vivo could also introduce the Vivo X300s alongside the Ultra model. Earlier demonstrations at Mobile World Congress 2026 showed a handset called the X300 Max, which company executives later confirmed will arrive as the X300s in China.
The Vivo X300s is confirmed to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and BOE Q10 Plus luminescent material. Meanwhile, the X300 Ultra is expected to focus heavily on camera capabilities. The brand has already confirmed that it would be the world’s first phone to feature a Sony LYT-901 200MP main camera, which will be paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto Samsung HP0 camera, a 50MP Sony LYT-818 ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP multispectral lens for accurate colour reproduction.
Vivo has also showcased 200mm and 400mm Zeiss telephoto extender kits designed for the X300 Ultra. In addition, the brand may also introduce the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered Vivo Pad 6 Pro tablet and a new vlogging camera on March 30 in China.
Although the initial launch is likely to take place in China, the device may not remain exclusive to that market. Recent certification approvals across multiple regions suggest that the Vivo X300 Ultra could also reach global markets, including India, during the second quarter of 2026.
