Previously, it was rumoured that the Vivo X300 Ultra would be accompanied by another model called the Vivo X300 Max. Now, the brand has officially confirmed that the X300 Max phone will instead debut as the X300s. The upcoming offering’s few key specs have also been revealed. The smartphone will be the fifth addition in the Vivo X300 family that already consists of the standard, pro, and FE models.
Vivo X300s key details teased
The Vivo X300s will be arriving as the successor to last year’s Vivo X200s. The company’s Product Manager Han Boxiao revealed that the ‘s’ in the name stands for ‘SuperMax’, hinting at upgrades across multiple aspects, especially performance.
The Vivo X300s is confirmed to come with a 6.76-inch BOE Q10 Plus display panel. It will feature a 144Hz refresh rate with native 144 FPS gameplay in certain MOBA titles. This would make it the first phone in Vivo’s X-series to come with a high refresh rate. The screen is said to support Zeiss colour tuning and circular polarization technology for reduced eye strain and comfortable usage during extended sessions.
Vivo also teased that the X300s will have upgraded amplifiers and algorithms for a wider sound field. The phone will feature a large customised 4D vibration motor for detailed haptic feedback with enhanced vibration effect. Furthermore, the Vivo executive confirms that the upcoming offering will have a 200MP Zeiss camera which is a significant upgrade from the 50MP sensors on the Vivo X200s.
We should learn more details about the Vivo X300s as we get closer to the launch this month.
