Vivo X300 Ultra camera specifications confirmed

Vivo has confirmed that the X300 Ultra will use a 200MP Sony LYTIA-901 sensor with a 35mm focal length, offering a more natural perspective for street and portrait shots. It will be joined by a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 14mm focal length, using the Sony LYTIA-818 sensor with a large 1/1.28-inch size and improved stabilisation rated at CIPA 6.0.

Meanwhile, the periscope telephoto lens will also reportedly feature a 200MP Samsung HP0 sensor with an 85mm focal length, supported by advanced micro-gimbal OIS for enhanced zoom stability. Additionally, the camera system includes ZEISS optics, T* coating, and a new 5MP multi-spectral sensor for improved colour accuracy.

The setup spans key focal lengths such as 14mm, 35mm, and 85mm, reinforcing Vivo’s push towards DSLR-like versatility in a smartphone. The brand will also offer optional telephoto extender kit accessories with 400mm and 200mm focal length options.

While Vivo has confirmed that the X300 Ultra will debut globally, it is yet to confirm a launch timeline. Rumours are rife that it may debut alongside the Vivo X300 FE in the second quarter of this year.
