Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 2025: How to watch, what to expect

Samsung’s much-awaited Galaxy Unpacked July event is set for today, and we are expected to see a bunch of new devices. Unlike every year, we may have three or more foldable phones, including the usual book-style foldable and a clamshell foldable.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 2025: What to expect

Like every year, Samsung is expected to launch foldable phones at the Unpacked event. However, this time around we are expecting at least three foldable phones. This includes the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Z Flip 7 FE. 

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be Samsung’s major focus this time. The book-style foldable may feature a slim and light body, unlike the predecessor. It could very well be one of the slimmest foldables, making it stand out from the competition. It may also get a new Snapdragon for Galaxy chipset and some camera upgrades. 

The Galaxy Z Flip, on the other hand, may come with a couple of refinements. This includes a better screen, likely an Exynos processor, and the latest Android operating system with One UI 6. The Fan Edition model of the Z Flip 7 may also get an Exynos chipset, however, it will mostly be a scaled-down version of the regular Z Flip.

Other than this, Samsung is also expected to showcase a triple-fold model that could feature dual hinges. Unfortunately, not many details of this triple-fold model have been revealed. But it may get 25W fast charging, as per its 3C certification. 

Samsung will also launch new wearables, including the Galaxy Watch 8 series and the Watch Ultra 2. Both will likely have beefier chassis and new features. Expect some Galaxy AI features to trickle down to these watches, which could enhance the overall user experience.
