Whirlpool’s new 3D Cool Pro+ air conditioners focus on personalised cooling and efficiency

Whirlpool has introduced its new 3D Cool Pro+ AC 2026 range, bringing updated cooling technologies aimed at improving comfort during demanding summer conditions. The lineup focuses on smarter airflow control, personalised cooling, and enhanced efficiency, setting the stage for a more adaptive home cooling experience.

Designed for Indian conditions

The new range is built around Whirlpool’s 3D Cool Technology, which aims to deliver faster and more uniform cooling across different room sizes. With air throw reaching up to 60 feet, the system is designed to minimise uneven temperature zones, particularly in larger spaces where airflow distribution can be inconsistent.

The air conditioners are engineered to maintain effective performance even when outdoor temperatures reach up to 56°C, addressing challenges faced during peak summer heat. A Turbo Chill mode is included for rapid cooling, helping bring room temperatures down quickly when users return to hot indoor environments.

Indoor air quality also receives attention through integrated silver ion filters that help reduce bacteria and allergens during extended usage. This addition targets households that rely heavily on air conditioning throughout the day, supporting cleaner air circulation alongside cooling.

Intelligent features and long-term efficiency

The range introduces 6th Sense Technology, which automatically adjusts cooling parameters such as temperature and airflow based on environmental conditions. Users can switch between focused airflow for quick cooling, diffused airflow for gentler comfort, and sweep airflow for even distribution through a four-way swing system.

Durability features include Golden Fin protection to help reduce corrosion, particularly useful in humid or coastal regions. The outdoor unit includes a self-clean function intended to reduce dust buildup and maintain performance over time. Copper condensers and adjustable 6-in-1 Xpand Technology allow users to balance performance and power consumption depending on usage needs.

The lineup will be available through online channels in 1-ton, 1.5-ton, and 2-ton variants with both 3-star and 5-star ratings, aligned with updated 2026 BEE norms.
