X (formerly Twitter) has introduced a limited-period subscription discount in India, offering the first month of Premium access for Rs 89 for new members. The same offer also allows users to get Premium+ for as low as Rs 890. The promotional pricing has been introduced to celebrate the platform’s third anniversary and aims to boost adoption.
How to get the Rs 89 offer
New X users can see the discount after signing into their accounts on desktop or via the mobile app. On desktop, the option typically appears as a top-right offer card or under the Premium tab in the left column. Users can select the Premium plan showing Rs 89 for the first month, proceed to Subscribe and Pay, and complete the transaction using credit or debit cards.

On mobile, subscribers can open the app, tap their profile photo (top-left), choose Premium from the menu, pick the Rs 89 plan, and complete the payment through UPI, cards, or app-store billing where available.
After the first month, the plan renews automatically at the standard rate of Rs 427 on desktop or Rs 470 on mobile unless cancelled beforehand.
With this offer, Premium+ costs Rs 890 for the first month and Rs 2,570 thereafter.
What X Premium and Premium+ offer
Premium members receive the verified blue checkmark, increased visibility on posts and replies, the ability to edit posts, undo posts within a short window, background video playback, and long-form posts up to 25,000 characters. Downloads for videos and bookmark folder organisation are also included, along with higher usage limits for the AI assistant, Grok.
Premium+ unlocks a fully ad-free feed, SuperGrok, enhanced reply boosting, Radar advanced search, and Handle Marketplace. Creator monetisation eligibility is available on both paid tiers, allowing qualifying posts to earn revenue when engagement and reach conditions are met.
When will the offer end?
The discount is temporary and scheduled to conclude on December 2, 2025. After the trial month under the promotional price, all subscriptions move to regular monthly pricing depending on the sign-up method.
