If you own a PlayStation 5 and had the fear of missing out during the release of Forza Horizon 5 on PC and other consoles, then there’s good news for you. After four years’ worth of wait the popular car racing game is coming to the Sony console, giving PS5 users access to the exclusive collection of cars in the game.
Here’s when the game is coming to your PlayStation 5 and everything you can expect.
Forza Horizon 5 PS5 release timeline
Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 5 is arriving on the Sony platform in Spring, i.e., between March and May. The game will be available for Sony’s latest console — the PlayStation 5, which includes the original PS5, PS5 Slim, and PS5 Pro.
Foriza Horizon 5 is the latest Microsoft title to head to PS5 following games like the Sea of Thieves and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Both games made it to the Sony platform last year.
Here’s what’s in store for the PlayStation 5 owners
With the game’s availability on the PlayStation console, players will be able to access nearly 900 cars, 40 thematic game updates, and two expansions. These expansions include the notable Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions.

For those unaware, Forza Horizon 5 is set in Mexico, where players will be able to race across different circuits. The game will also include popular circuits like the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Lime Rock Park, and Circuit de Catalunya, among others.
Players can also access different Horizon festivals, and do vehicle and character customisations. Apart from this, all other PC features of the game, like photo presets, multiplayer modes, and Eventlab will be also available to the PlayStation players.
