The Google I/O 2025 show has wrapped, and as expected, it was all about AI. So much of AI that Google had to introduce a new subscription plan to monetise all its offerings.
Enter the Google AI Ultra subscription that gives subscribers access to the latest and best of Gemini AI features. This includes access to the new Veo 3 model, Whisk, Flow, and more. Here’s everything you need to know.
All about the new Google AI Ultra plan
The Google AI Ultra plan is a flagship subscription tier for all the Gemini-powered tools. The subscription costs $249.99 (about Rs 21,400), and it offers early access to all the experimental AI tools. It also gives full access to existing AI features from Google.
While the subscription seems a bit costly, users get access to its new Veo 3 model for video generation. Users also get access to Flow and Whisk, the former is an AI film-making tool, whereas, the latter helps you visualise your ideas with both text and image prompts.
Further, users also get access to Project Mariner, which is an agenetic research prototype that can assist you in managing up to 10 tasks simultaneously.
What’s more? Gemini in Google apps, a YouTube Premium subscription, Gemini in Chrome, NotebookLM, and a whopping 30TB of cloud storage.

Those who find this plan a little out of budget can go for the Google AI Pro plan. But before you think it’s a new plan, wait up; it’s just a new name for the AI Premium plan, which costs $19.99 per month and Rs 1,950 per month in India.
While the AI Pro plan is available in India, the Google AI Ultra plan is currently limited to the US. However, it’s expected to arrive in India sometime later.
