Google Search turns into Upside Down for the Stranger Things finale

Stranger Things is trending, and its finale is about to be dropped. To celebrate this, Google has done something crazy. But it’s not the doodle, rather, a fun little Easter Egg that takes you straight to Upside. Cool and scary, right? Here’s what happens when you search Stranger Things on Google.

All about the Stranger Things Easter Egg on Google Search

Google has quietly added a fun Easter egg that pulls users straight into the eerie world of Hawkins. Once you type Stranger Things into Google Search, you see a dice at the bottom, and tapping it will subtly change the layout of the screen.

Colours darken, and the atmosphere feels heavier, and familiar elements from the show start creeping in. What’s interesting is that the entire page turns upside down, taking you straight to Upside Down.

Now that’s pretty cool, right? Notably, this cool Easter egg works on both mobile and desktop.

For the unversed, Stranger Things isn’t the first show for which Google added this fun easter egg. Google has a long history of adding playful Easter eggs tied to pop culture moments.
