Grand Theft Auto 5 is reportedly making a return to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue this November. This scoop comes straight from Billbil-kun over at Dealabs, a leaker who rarely misses. They claim the 12-year-old crime epic will land on the service starting November 18.
You can play the 2013 classic (again) while you wait
If you’re a subscriber to the PS Plus Extra or Deluxe/Premium tiers, you’ll soon be able to dive back into Los Santos without paying an extra penny. Sony is expected to make the whole thing official with their full November slate announcement on November 12.
Of course, the timing here isn’t a coincidence. This news drops just days after Rockstar confirmed everyone’s worst fears. Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed again, this time getting shoved all the way back to a grim November 19, 2026. The studio says the game needs “further polish.” This is its second major delay, too, after slipping from an original Fall 2025 window to May 2026, and now this.

That said, this isn’t a new move. GTA 5 has become a recurring guest on PlayStation Plus, showing up in December 2023 and again in November 2024. So, it’s unsurprising that Billbil-kun suggests it will likely be available for about six months before vanishing back into the vault.
Either way, the game is bound to generate hype. It’s spanned three whole console generations since its 2013 debut. Thanks to GTA Online, it remains one of the most popular games on the planet. We’re talking 83,000 peak players on Steam in a single day recently. It’s the second-best-selling game of all time with over 220 million copies sold as of May this year.
