Haier has introduced a new side-by-side refrigerator range in India aimed at households that need larger storage and added convenience in everyday kitchen use. It has announced a 596-litre two-door refrigerator designed to bring smart features and flexible storage to the premium refrigeration segment. Haier’s new refrigerator comes with a spacious 596-litre capacity, offering ample room for families that require organised storage for fresh produce, beverages and frozen items. The design focuses on everyday convenience while maintaining consistent cooling performance across compartments.

One of the key additions is a built-in 2.5-litre BPA-free water dispenser that provides chilled drinking water directly from the refrigerator without opening the door. This design helps reduce temperature loss and also ensures safer water storage. The refrigerator also supports 100 percent convertible storage, allowing users to adjust compartments based on changing storage needs.

It also comes with Wi-Fi connectivity that works through the HaiSmart app. This allows users to monitor and adjust temperature settings remotely using a smartphone. Alongside this, Smart Sense AI studies usage patterns and surrounding conditions to optimise cooling performance for better efficiency.

To simplify control, the refrigerator features an external LED digital display panel that provides quick access to temperature settings and operational controls. It also includes Smart Food Management features to help users keep track of stored food and organise items efficiently. The refrigerator runs on Expert Inverter technology, which supports quieter operation, improved durability and energy-efficient cooling.

The new refrigerator range includes four models: HRS-682WRSU1, HRS-682WUSU1, HRS-682WGKU1 and HRS-682SWDU1. The lineup is priced at Rs 65,990 and is available through retail stores, e-commerce platforms and the official Haier India website. A similar BPA-free water dispenser is also available on select three-door variants in the company’s side-by-side refrigerator portfolio.
