With this update, your iPhone can now work completely in Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Tamil, and more. This includes menus, settings, apps; everything will feel right at home in your chosen language on your phone.
How to change language on iPhone with iOS 18.4.1
First things first, make sure your iPhone is updated to iOS 18.4.1. It’s simple – head to Settings > General > Software Update and install the latest update if you haven’t already.

Here are the new regional languages you can now use on your iPhone: Hindi, Urdu, Bangla, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Ready to switch your iPhone’s language? Here’s what you need to do:
Step 1: Open Settings from your Home Screen.
Step 2: Scroll down and tap on General.
Step 3: Select Language & Region.
Step 4: Tap Add Language to browse through the list.
Step 5: Find and select the language you want to use.
Step 6: When prompted, confirm by tapping Use [Language] as your primary language.
And just like that, your entire iPhone – from menus to app options – will greet you in your preferred language!
