If you are someone who loves showing off your music taste or what you are currently listening to on social media apps, like Instagram, then there’s good news for you.
So far, Instagram has allowed users to share their favourite tracks from Spotify to stories. Now, Instagram is letting users share their live Spotify playback directly on Instagram Notes.
This means your Instagram friends will exactly know what you are vibing to in real-time. Sounds fun? Here’s everything you need to know about the feature.
Now share tracks from Spotify on Instagram Notes; here's how
Instagram has collaborated with Spotify once again, this time for a fun feature. The latest feature lets you share what you are currently listening to on Instagram Notes.
What’s interesting is that the Spotify playback that you share will be live, meaning your friends can see the track you skipped to in real time, right in the DMs tab. If that sounds good, here’s how you can use this feature.
Step 1: Open Instagram and enter DMs by swiping from right to left.
Step 2: Now, tap on your profile photo on the top left, where it says ‘Note…’.
Step 3: In the audio browser, select ‘Share from Spotify’.
Step 4: Now, choose the track you want to play, and it will be visible to your friends in real time.
Do note that if you are not actively listening to music on Spotify, your note will automatically display the next song you play within 30 minutes.
