iQOO 15 Ultra is launching next week; here’s everything confirmed so far

After weeks of leaks, iQOO has today confirmed when it will launch its first Ultra-branded flagship. Scheduled to debut in China on February 4, the iQOO 15 Ultra will be aimed at hardcore gamers who demand top-tier performance and advanced thermal management. Here’s a look at the details that have been officially confirmed so far.

iQOO 15 Ultra design

iQOO has already revealed that the iQOO 15 Ultra will be offered in 2077 Flowing Orange and 2049 Ice Blue shades. The gaming-focused phone features a square camera deco equipped with a small horizontal RGB light strip.

Below the camera module, there are air intake vents along with halo RGB lighting, similar to the regular iQOO 15. The back panel sports a hexagonal honeycomb texture. For enhanced gaming, the device is equipped with a built-in cooling fan as well as dual gaming shoulder buttons with an industry-leading 600Hz sampling rate, paired with a linear motor for in-game vibration feedback.

iQOO 15 Ultra specifications (rumoured)

iQOO is yet to confirm the technical specifications of the iQOO 15 Ultra, but it is said to borrow most of its hardware from the standard iQOO 15. Therefore, it is expected to feature a 6.85-inch AMOLED panel offering a 2K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the iQOO 15 Ultra is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and is said to pack a larger battery than the iQOO 15. It may house either a 7,400mAh or 7,800mAh battery with support for 200W fast charging.

The iQOO 15 Ultra’s rear camera setup is expected to include a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The device is expected to run OriginOS 6-based Android 16. At present, there is no clarity on whether the iQOO 15 Ultra will be released in markets outside China.
