iQOO 15R’s first teaser reveals an enticing design to rival OnePlus 15R

In November 2025, iQOO unveiled the iQOO 15 equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. This phone competes with the OnePlus 15, while OnePlus also introduced the OnePlus 15R, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Now, iQOO has released the first teaser for the iQOO 15R, revealing an enticing rear design.

While the company has not confirmed any of its specifications yet, the device is expected to emerge as a major rival to the OnePlus 15R.

iQOO 15R specifications (expected)

Rumours suggest that the iQOO 15R could be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which recently debuted in China. The Z-series phone features a 6.59-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with a Q3 chip for enhanced gaming, and a massive 7,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

In China, the Z11 Turbo is available with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, and features a 32MP front camera. On the rear, it houses an OIS-enabled 200MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

Additional features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, an X-axis linear motor, dual speakers, and an IR blaster. For durability, the device offers a metal frame, Schott Shield glass protection on the display, and IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance.
