The summer sale season is here, and with it comes a flood of discounts across gadgets. Croma’s Summer Sale is offering deals across categories like air conditioners, TVs, smartphones and laptops. But one offer that really stands out is on the MacBook Neo, Apple’s newest and most affordable laptop yet.

With the right combination, the price of this already relatively accessible MacBook can drop to just Rs 38,706. Curious how that math works? Here’s the breakdown for this MacBook Neo deal.

How to buy the MacBook Neo at Rs 38,706

The MacBook Neo normally carries an MRP of Rs 69,900, but Croma’s Summer Sale lets you stack several offers to push the price much lower. Here’s how the savings add up:

– Student and Teacher discount: up to Rs 4,194
– Exchange value and bonus: up to Rs 23,000
– Cashback offers: up to Rs 4,000

Stack all three together and the effective price drops to Rs 38,706, which is roughly 45 per cent lower than the listed MRP!

The deal is available at Croma retail stores across India, though only while stocks last. If you’ve been thinking about picking up a MacBook for everyday use, this might be one of the most affordable entry points yet.

What makes the MacBook Neo special?

The MacBook Neo is Apple’s attempt to make the Mac ecosystem more approachable for a wider audience; particularly students, families, and first-time Mac buyers.

It comes with a 13-inch Liquid Retina display with a resolution of 2408 × 1506 pixels and brightness of up to 500 nits. The screen supports one billion colours and includes an anti-reflective coating, which helps when you’re working in bright rooms or near windows.

Under the hood, the laptop runs on the A18 Pro chip, the same processor used in the iPhone 16 Pro lineup. It packs a 6-core CPU with two performance cores and four efficiency cores, alongside a 5-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine designed to accelerate AI tasks.

Design-wise, it sticks to Apple’s familiar formula. It has a fanless aluminium chassis that keeps things slim and quiet, weighing about 1.23kg. Inside is a 36.5Wh battery that Apple claims can deliver up to 16 hours of video streaming.

Other features include a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, dual microphones with directional beamforming, and dual speakers with Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos support. For connectivity, you get two USB-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 6.

In short, the MacBook Neo aims to bring the Mac experience to more people, and if the Summer Sale pricing holds true, it might just be the cheapest way to get there.
