Motorola Signature debuts as the company’s most premium flagship ever

Motorola Signature has debuted at CES 2026 as an ultra-premium offering, alongside the Razr Fold, the company’s first book-style foldable phone. This device is not just a new smartphone; it is a bold statement of luxury and engineering, marking Motorola’s most sophisticated flagship to date.

Crafted with an aircraft-grade aluminium frame and a unique linen-inspired fabric finish, the Signature balances a remarkably thin 6.99mm profile with rugged MIL-STD 810H durability. Here is a closer look at the other specifications of the device.

Motorola Signature: Specs and features

The Motorola Signature’s centerpiece is a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display that pushes boundaries with a 165Hz refresh rate, a 1.5K resolution, and an incredible peak brightness of 6,200 nits. This panel is Pantone Validated, ensuring that every colour is reproduced with professional-grade accuracy for creators and media enthusiasts alike.

The Signature is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage for seamless multitasking. Under the hood, it houses a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Photography is handled by a professional-grade triple 50MP camera system, featuring a flagship-class Sony LYT-828 sensor, an ultra-wide camera with autofocus support, and a Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it has a 50MP Sony LYT-500 front-facing camera.

Motorola has also committed to seven years of OS and security updates, ensuring the device remains relevant well into the next decade. The phone also offers advanced imaging features, while the chassis maintains an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

Motorola Signature: Price and availability

Positioned as a direct competitor to the elite tier of smartphones, the Motorola Signature carries a premium price tag to match its “Signature” status. The device is launching with a starting price of €999 (~Rs 1,105,350) for the base configuration.

Available in sophisticated Pantone-curated colours such as Carbon and Martini Olive, the handset is rolling out first across Europe and India, with wider availability in the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific regions expected in the coming weeks.
