Motorola has confirmed the India launch of its upcoming premium smartphone, the Motorola Signature, scheduled for January 7, 2026. Ahead of the launch, the company has shared early teasers revealing parts of the design and hinting at flagship-grade hardware, setting expectations for a high-end debut.
Motorola Signature design teased
Official teasers confirm that the Motorola Signature will feature a fabric-finished rear panel, a departure from conventional glass-backed flagships. The phone is also shown with a flat display, slim and uniform bezels, and a centred hole-punch cut-out for the front camera.
Motorola has hinted at the presence of a periscope telephoto lens, placing the Signature in line with current flagship imaging trends. Previous leaks suggest a triple rear camera setup built around 50MP sensors, including a primary Sony Lytia sensor with optical image stabilisation, supported by additional wide-angle and telephoto units.
The Motorola Signature is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, which also powers the OnePlus 15R. The same listing points to 16GB of RAM and Android 16 out of the box, likely running Motorola’s Hello UI. The phone is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, offering a balance of sharp visuals and smooth everyday use.
Pricing and availability expectations
Motorola has not yet revealed official pricing for the Signature, as this is the first model under a new premium series. However, given its specifications and positioning, it is expected to sit firmly in the flagship price segment.
Colour options tipped so far include Carbon and Martini Olive. This device is expected to get rebranded as the Moto X70 Air Pro in China.
