Noise has refreshed its over-ear headphones lineup with the launch of the Noise Airwave Max 6 in India, stepping in as the successor to last year’s Airwave Max 5. The headline upgrades are hard to miss. You get up to 45dB Adaptive Hybrid ANC and a claimed 120 hours of playback in standard mode.
On paper, this is Noise leaning confidently into the premium audio space. The Max 6 promises deeper bass, more detailed sound, and smarter noise cancellation, all wrapped in a design built for long listening sessions rather than quick commutes alone.
Dual drivers, smarter ANC, longer stamina
At the core of the Airwave Max 6 is a coaxial dual-driver setup, pairing a 40mm main driver with a 12mm secondary unit. What this gets you is fuller low-end response without muddying vocals, while keeping mids and highs balanced. Noise is also touting Hi-Res Audio certification and LDAC support, which should appeal to Android users who stream at higher bitrates.

Adaptive Hybrid ANC is rated at up to 45dB and adjusts in real time based on surrounding noise. Whether it is a café buzz or the steady hum of an AC unit, the headphones are designed to adapt without you having to toggle modes manually. There is also Spatial or 3D Audio support for a more immersive presentation across music, films and gaming.
Calls are handled by a five-microphone array with wind-noise reduction, while Bluetooth 6.0 takes care of connectivity.
Battery life is arguably the standout figure. Noise claims up to 120 hours of playback with ANC off, and up to 80 hours with it enabled. Even if real-world numbers land slightly lower, that still places the Max 6 among the more stamina-focused options in this price bracket.
A quick 10-minute charge is said to deliver up to 15 hours of listening, which should be enough to get you through a workday in a pinch. Add to that an ergonomic design, and the Noise Airwave Max 6 truly looks like an impressive offering, on paper, at least.
Noise Airwave Max 6 price and availability
The Noise Airwave Max 6 is priced at Rs 6,999 in India. It comes in four colour options including Dune White, Cobalt Blue, Forest Green and Carbon Black.
The headphones are available via Noise’s website and a few e-commerce platforms with a one-year warranty included. What do you think of these cans? Drop a comment with your thoughts.
