OnePlus 15T debuts with a massive 7,500mAh battery in a compact design

OnePlus has unveiled the OnePlus 15T in China today. Just as the company launched the OnePlus 13s in India as a tweaked version of China’s OnePlus 13T, it is likely that the rumoured OnePlus 15s could be based on the newly unveiled 15T. Here’s a look at the specifications, features, and price of the device.

OnePlus 15T: Specs and features

Starting from the front, the OnePlus 15T has an impressive 6.32-inch OLED panel delivering a 1.5K resolution and a gaming-friendly 165Hz refresh rate. With 1.1mm borders on all four sides of the display, it sports some of the thinnest bezels on a compact flagship phone.

The OnePlus 15T is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Despite its small form factor, it packs a huge 7,500mAh battery. What’s even more impressive is that it offers 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Moving on to the cameras, the 15T has a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. The back panel of the device features a 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera with OIS support and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x zoom and OIS.

For security, the OnePlus 15T has an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device is equipped with other features, such as dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor, a Plus Key for accessing Mind Space, a metal middle frame for better durability, and IP66/68/69/69K-rated dust and water resistance.

OnePlus 15T: Price and availability

The OnePlus 15T has landed in China in multiple options, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. With a starting price of 4,299 CNY (Rs 58,600), the phone comes in three shades: Relaxed Matcha, Pura Cocoa, and Healing White Chocolate.
