At the end of 2025, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R in India. Since then, the brand hasn’t launched a new phone. While initial rumours suggested the Indian market would receive new devices such as the Nord 6 and OnePlus 15s, an online tipster claimed in January that the Nord 6 had been delayed and that the 15s may have been cancelled.
Now, in a fresh post, the tipster has claimed that the company has resumed working on the OnePlus 15s. There is a possibility that its camera capabilities could be different from the OnePlus 15T, which is said to be its variant for the Chinese market.
OnePlus 15s: What to expect
According to the leak, the OnePlus 15s will arrive with reworked cameras. However, he did not specify the details of its camera system.
Reports have revealed that the OnePlus 15T’s rear camera setup will be headlined by a 200MP main camera and a 50MP telephoto camera. So, there is a possibility that the 15s may not feature a 200MP main camera.
As far as other specifications are concerned, the OnePlus 15s is said to feature a 6.31-inch OLED panel with support for a 1.5K resolution. However, its refresh rate is likely to increase to up to 165Hz, similar to the OnePlus 15 and 15R.
The OnePlus 15s is said to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with its topmost variant offering 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. It is expected to house a massive 7,000mAh or 7,500mAh battery with 100W fast charging. It is unclear whether the device will support wireless charging.
To recall, the OnePlus 13s was unveiled in June 2025. So, its successor could be unveiled at some point in the second quarter of the year. The 15s is expected to rival the Vivo X300 FE, which is said to launch either in March or April in India.
