OnePlus 15T launch timeline revealed, India availability remains uncertain

Last year, OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 13T, a compact flagship smartphone, in China. A tweaked version of the device was later launched in India under the OnePlus 13s branding. While the Chinese edition of the OnePlus 15T appears to be on track, there is still uncertainty surrounding its India launch.

According to a recent Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 15T is tentatively scheduled to debut in China by mid-to-late March. This suggests that the phone could arrive earlier than expected, as its predecessor was announced in April 2025.

As per reports, the OnePlus 15T is expected to feature a 6.31-inch OLED LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. For security, it is said to include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

For selfies, the OnePlus 15T may come with a 32MP front-facing camera. On the rear, it could feature either a 200MP or 50MP main camera, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide lens. Like the previous generation, it is expected to lack a telephoto camera.

The OnePlus 15T is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The device is expected to pack a battery with a capacity of around 7,500mAh, support 100W wired charging, and also offer wireless charging.

In China, the OnePlus 15T will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Other reported features include a metal middle frame, an IP68/69-rated body, a slim profile of around 8.5mm, and a weight of approximately 194 grams. The phone is said to arrive in colour options such as Relaxing Matcha, Healing White Chocolate, and Pure Cocoa.

OnePlus 15s may have been cancelled

Reports previously suggested that a slightly modified or rebranded version of the OnePlus 15T would launch in India under the OnePlus 15s branding. However, a recent X post by tipster Yogesh Brar claims that the OnePlus 15s may have been cancelled, though no reason has been cited. He also stated that the Nord 6 has been delayed, with no clarity on its revised launch timeline.
