Performance-focused Nord flagship spotted

OnePlus Nord 6 spotted with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, early launch expected

After launching the OnePlus 15 and 15R, OnePlus is said to be working on the OnePlus Nord 6, a performance-focused smartphone with affordable pricing. Its launch may not be far away, as it was spotted with the model number CPH2795 in the database of the Malaysian SIRIM certification platform. The device has already appeared on India’s BIS certification, indicating that its launch could be imminent.

In a new development, the Nord 6 has appeared on Geekbench, revealing its chipset for the first time. The listing suggests that the brand could be internally testing the device, and it may launch earlier than expected.

OnePlus Nord 6 Geekbench listing

The Geekbench listing of the OnePlus Nord 6 reveals that it is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. While the listing does not mention the chip’s name directly, the CPU and GPU details available clearly indicate that it features the said Snapdragon 8-series chipset.

The Geekbench listing further reveals that the OnePlus Nord 6 is equipped with 12GB of RAM and runs Android 16. The inclusion of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 suggests that the Nord 6 could be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Turbo 6, which recently debuted with the same chipset in China.

A previously seen TUV certification listing revealed that the Nord 6 may support 80W fast charging. While there is no information about its other specifications, it could be largely based on its Chinese counterpart.

OnePlus Nord 6 specifications (expected)

The OnePlus Nord 6 is expected to feature a 6.83-inch OLED display delivering a 1.5K resolution and a high 165Hz refresh rate, similar to the OnePlus 15 series. It may come with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The Nord 6 is expected to ship with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. It may house a massive 9,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and 27W reverse wireless charging.

On the front, the Nord 6 may feature a 16MP selfie camera, while the rear panel could be equipped with an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. While photography is not the main focus of the device, these cameras are expected to be suitable for casual photography.

OnePlus Nord 6 launch timeframe (rumoured)

Speculations are rife that the OnePlus Nord 6 may launch earlier than expected. To recall, the Nord 5 was announced in July 2025, but rumours suggest that the successor edition may hit the market as early as March this year.
