OnePlus Nord 6 reportedly delayed, likely to launch in April

The upcoming OnePlus Nord 6 has been consistently bagging new certifications in different countries, including India, indicating that its launch may not be far away. Initial reports suggested that it could debut in February or March, but a new update by an online tipsterreveals that its arrival has been delayed. Additionally, there is currently no clarity regarding the launch of the Nord CE 6.

OnePlus Nord 6 now tipped to launch in April

According to the tipster, the OnePlus Nord 6’s launch has been postponed to April. He did not share any reason behind the delay, while the company has remained tight-lipped about the device’s existence. However, it may still be undergoing internal testing, as it was recently spotted on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and Android 16.

The company has been known for launching a CE variant of its flagship Nord phone each year. Last year, the brand sold both the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 in India, but there are currently no rumours detailing the specifications of the Nord CE 6.

OnePlus Nord 6 specifications (rumoured)

According to reports, the OnePlus Nord 6 could be based on the OnePlus Turbo 6, which recently debuted in China. One of its key highlights is that it is the company’s first phone to feature a massive 9,000mAh battery, with support for 80W wired charging and 27W reverse charging.

As a performance-focused phone, it is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. On the front, the Turbo 6 features a 6.83-inch OLED panel delivering a 1.5K resolution along with a smooth 165Hz refresh rate.

For photography, the Turbo 6 is equipped with a 16MP front camera and a 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup. Other notable features include dual speakers, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, an X-axis linear motor for enhanced haptics, and an IP68/69-rated dustproof and water-resistant body.
