Alongside the launch of the OnePlus 15T in China, the brand also announced two new accessories for the phone. One is a magnetic charger and the other is a magnetic cooler dubbed as Super Ice Magnetic Cooler. The latter is touted to be the thinnest magnetic cooling accessory for a smartphone. It is aimed to dissipate heat during extended usage sessions and playing demanding gaming.
OnePlus Super Ice Magnetic Cooler key features
The OnePlus Super Ice Magnetic Cooler has a power output of 40W compared to last year’s model that maxed out at 27W. Internally, it is equipped with 1600mm² custom TEC cooling plate, dual airflow channels, axial fan, along with layered materials like copper foil and thermal silicone pads.

The accessory is claimed to reach temperatures as low as -22 degree celsius. It is also said to drop temperatures to 0-degree in 18 seconds and -1.41 degree in 20 seconds. To operate at an optimal performance, it requires 45W PD or higher faster charger.
The OnePlus Super Ice Magnetic Cooler features high, medium, low, and auto adjustable cooling modes. It connects to OnePlus devices automatically via Bluetooth pairing and supports ColorOS X mode. The mobile accessory has RGB lighting with blue and purple effects. The cooler operates at 39dB noise levels in performance mode and it goes down to 29dB with low-power mode.
The OnePlus Super Ice Magnetic Cooler costs RMB 229 (approx. Rs 3,121) and is available for purchase in China. It is expected to make its way to India since the predecessor model is also available in the country.
