Oppo Find X9 Ultra’s detailed camera specifications leaked well before launch

Next week, Oppo will unveil the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in China, with other markets expected to receive them by the end of this month. Speculations are rife that the brand may unveil the more powerful Find X9 Ultra in the second quarter of 2026. What makes this device particularly intriguing is its expected use of two periscope telephoto cameras. A new leak from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has now revealed more details about the Find X9 Ultra’s camera capabilities.

In the above leak, DCS mentioned an upcoming Oppo smartphone equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. While the tipster did not specify the device’s name, the presence of this chip strongly suggests that the leak refers to the Oppo Find X9 Ultra.

As per the leak, the primary 200-megapixel camera will use the upcoming Sony IMX09E sensor, a large 1/1.12-inch sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and a GP (Glass + Plastic) optical module. Some reports suggest that this sensor could be marketed as the Sony LYT-900.

The first periscope telephoto lens is said to use a 50MP Sony LYT828 sensor, also quite large at 1/1.28-inch, featuring OIS and an internal focus optical module. It will reportedly offer a fixed optical zoom of around 3x. The tipster did not disclose specific sensor information for the second periscope and ultra-wide lenses.

To sum up, the Find X9 Ultra promises a groundbreaking camera experience with its dual periscope lenses, 200-megapixel Sony sensor, and next-gen imaging innovations.
