The bold Velvet Red Oppo Find X9 finally lands in India

Earlier this month, Oppo unveiled the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro in India. In China, both phones are available in the attractive Velvet Red colour version, which wasn’t made available at the Indian launch. Now, the brand has recently confirmed the Find X9’s Velvet Red variants are available. Read on to know everything about it.

Oppo Find X9 Velvet Red Edition arrives in India

The Oppo Find X9’s new Velvet Red finish expands the Find X9 palette, joining the darker Space Black and the understated Titanium Grey versions. The internal build and capabilities remain consistent irrespective of the colour chosen, so customers won’t see any difference in core performance between the red and the existing versions.

This specific edition is available in a single configuration featuring 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It carries a price tag of Rs. 74,999, though shoppers can take advantage of bank offers that bring the effective price down to Rs. 67,499.

The red variant will be available for purchase starting December 8 through the Oppo India online store and other authorised retail partners. Buyers can look forward to several promotional offers, including a 10% instant cashback with leading bank cards and exchange bonuses. There are also options for no-cost EMI plans lasting up to 24 months.

Oppo Find X9 specifications

The Find X9 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1.5K resolution. Under the hood, it runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The battery life is substantial, thanks to a 7,025mAh silicon-carbon unit that supports 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

For photography, the phone sports a Hasselblad-tuned system with a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. A 32MP sensor handles selfies on the front. It runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16 overlaid and includes high-level durability with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Oppo Find X9 Pro colour options

Unlike the standard X9, the Find X9 Pro sells in India in a lone configuration of 16GB RAM with 512GB storage and is offered in Silk White and Titanium Charcoal surfaces.
