Oppo K15 Pro, K15 Pro+ debut with Cyberpunk design and active thermal management

Oppo has announced two new K-series phones in China. These are the Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+. The latter is the more premium offering among the two devices. The K15 Pro duo focus on gaming features with performance, cooling, and large battery. Read on to know what the devices offer out of the box. 

Oppo K15 Pro, K15 Pro+ specifications

The Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ come with a 1.5K OLED panel. The former has a 6.58-inch screen with a 144Hz refresh rate whereas the latter features a slightly larger 6.79-inch display with 165Hz refresh rate. Both phones have an integrated fingerprint scanner with the Pro+ model getting an ultrasonic scanner. 

The Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ have the same Cyberpunk-like design with an ultra-thin squarish camera island. There are two light strips on the rear panel that change colors based on notifications and phone activity. The smartphones are IP69-certified dust and water-resistant. 

In the camera department, the Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ sport a 50MP OIS and EIS-enabled main camera sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle unit. There is a 16MP front-facing selfie snapper.

Internally, the Oppo K15 Pro is equipped with a Dimensity 8500 Super chipset whereas the Pro+ model is powered by a Dimensity 9500 SoC. Both phones pack up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The  K15 Pro duo have airflow ducts and heat dissipation fins for thermal management.

The smartphone is backed by a 7,500mAh battery cell with support for 80W charging whereas the K15 Pro+ runs on a 8,000mAh unit maxing out at 100W charging speed. The K15 duo ships with Android 16-based ColorOS 16 out of the box. 

Oppo K15 Pro, K15 Pro+ pricing

The Oppo K15 Pro and Pro+ are offered in basic and standard variants. For the basic model, the K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ start at CNY 2,999 (approx Rs 40,515) and CNY 3,499 (approx Rs 47,270) respectively for the 12GB + 256GB option.

The 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB configurations of the K15 Pro standard version costs CNY 3,199 (approx Rs 43,220) and CNY 3,499 (approx Rs 47,270). The same configurations of standard version of K15 Pro+ are priced at CNY 3,699 (approx 49,970) and CNY 4,199 (approx Rs 56,725).
