The Realme 16 5G is set to launch in India soon. The brand has started teasing the arrival of the smartphone in the country. It will join the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+ 5G that debuted earlier in January this year. Realme is touting the upcoming offering as India’s first selfie-mirror phone. Read on to learn more details.
Realme 16 5G to debut in India soon
The dedicated microsite of the Realme 16 5G on the brand’s official website shows the phone with a lightweight and thin design. It will be available in White colour. There is a horizontal bar on the back panel with a pill-shaped cutout housing two sensors.

Now, coming to the striking highlight, the Realme 16 5G has a selfie mirror just besides the pill-shaped camera cutout. It can be triggered by ‘Say Hi’ voice command and the device will take selfies from the rear main sensor.
We can expect Realme to share more details about the Realme 16 5G in the coming days. The smartphone is only available in Vietnam markets. Hence, the Indian model could pack the same specifications.
The Realme 16 5G has a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 4,500 nits peak brightness, and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. It features a robust durability with IP66/68/69/69K certifications. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo SoC and a 7,000mAh battery cell. It supports 60W charging. The phone packs up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is a 50MP main rear camera paired with 2MP monochrome sensor and a 50MP selfie snapper.
