RedMagic 11 Pro, a phone designed for hardcore gaming, has been globally unveiled. One of the highlights of the device is that it is the industry’s first phone to feature a visible liquid cooling unit.

Additionally, it promises top-notch performance thanks to the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a huge battery. Continue reading ahead to know everything about this literally cool gaming phone.

RedMagic 11 Pro key specifications and features

The RedMagic 11 Pro features the AquaCore Cooling system, which is a hybrid setup featuring a flowing fluorinated liquid along with a large vapour chamber and a built-in active cooling Turbo Fan with 24,000rpm.

This combination is designed to offer enhanced heat dissipation during extended gaming sessions. It is the only gaming-focused smartphone with a turbo fan that offers an IPX8-level of water resistance.

Under the hood is Qualcomm’s most potent Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. It is accompanied by up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM, up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 Pro storage, and a massive 7,500mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. While the battery is quite big, it is slightly smaller than the 8,000mAh unit that powers its Chinese version.

Up front, the RedMagic 11 Pro sports a 6.85-inch flat AMOLED screen without a camera punch-hole, offering an amazing full-screen experience. It offers a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, and the device supports super resolution frame interpolation, enhanced touch response, and 33 per cent lower latency.

For selfies, it has a 16MP camera neatly tucked under the display. The back panel of the phone houses a 50MP main camera with OIS support, a 50MP ultra-wide snapper, a 2MP macro camera. It packs connectivity features, such as 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, a USB-C (3.2 Gen 1), 3.5mm audio jack. For security, it features an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.

RedMagic 11 Pro: Price and availability

The RedMagic 11 Pro comes in three variants—12GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 24GB+1TB. Prices start from $699 and go up to $999, which approximately translate to Rs 62,000 – 88,500. Buyers can choose from three colours: two transparent options, such as Cryo and Nightfreeze, and a non-transparent one called Subzero.

The phone will be heading to markets like North America, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East. Currently, it’s up for pre-orders, with sales slated to commence on November 18.

RedMagic 11 Pro: Will it launch in India?

As far as the India launch is concerned, RedMagic phones are not sold in India, and there’s no clarity on whether the RedMagic 11 Pro will be available in the country.
