OnePlus 15 to offer next-level 165fps gaming experience with OP Gaming Technology

OnePlus is all set to announce the OnePlus 15 on November 13. Rumours suggest that it may debut as India’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which promises top-notch performance. A new announcement from the brand reveals that the upcoming phone will offer a next-level gaming experience, thanks to the all-new Gaming Technology.

With this technology, OnePlus aims to merge deep chip-level performance optimisations with intelligent software to deliver smoother gameplay, lower latency, and enhanced responsiveness on the upcoming OnePlus 15 series.

What will OP Gaming Core Technology offer?

The OP Gaming Core Technology, developed by OnePlus, reconstructs how computing resources are allocated during gameplay. It features a custom CPU Scheduler that reportedly reduces CPU construction load by around 23 per cent, improving efficiency and cutting power usage.

Alongside this, there is Next-Gen HyperRendering technology that restructures GPU rendering pipelines, enhancing per-frame rendering efficiency by up to 80 per cent. These result in stable 120fps performance with improved thermal balance while enjoying graphically demanding sessions.

OP Performance Tri-Chip

This includes tri-combination chips for managing performance, touch response, and Wi-Fi G2. Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip for performance, the touch chip assists in faster and more accurate touch input with a 330Hz sampling rate and 3200Hz instant response. On the other hand, the Wi-Fi G2 ensures signal stability, even in weak networking zones, through advanced SmartLink algorithms.

OP FPS Max

The OP FPS Max is a high-frame-rate gaming solution offering true 165fps support on compatible titles. Paired with a 165Hz screen, it ensures a fluid visual and immersive gaming experience.

As per reports, the OnePlus 15 series will also include the OnePlus 15R, a performance-focused affordable flagship, and the OnePlus 15s, a compact flagship. While the 15s is expected to debut by late Q2 2026, the 15R may go official in Q1 as a modified version of the Ace 6, which recently debuted in China.
