Samsung’s AI-Ecobbuble washing machine goes big with new 11kg avatar

With AI quickly becoming a popular tool in multiple industries, it was only a matter of time before home appliances began to be powered by AI, either partially or completely. While the latter still feels like it’s a few years away, Samsung has actually already come with a washing machine that uses AI to make washing much more efficient.

This is the new Samsung AI Ecobubble Fully Automatic washing machine, a fully automatic washer with 11kg capacity that uses a clever blend of sensors and algorithms to lower wash times, power consumption and even offer better fabric care.

To be clear, Samsung’s AI-Ecobubble range isn’t exactly new, but the new version is its largest yet with a 11kg capacity, ideal for larger families.

How does it work?

The Samsung Galaxy AI Ecobubble is capable of automating multiple washing processes during a wash cycle. The Ecobubble can adjust its settings by detecting the load, type of fabric, as well as washing patterns and habits, which will develop over time.

Samsung claims these processes will help the machine save up to 70 per cent in terms of electricity usage. This is also coupled with the Samsung Ecobubble technology, which turns detergent into bubbles, allowing the machine to wash your clothes more effectively and reach tough-to-clean areas.

Other features

The Samsung Ecobubble washing machine is also quicker at washing smaller loads, because of its AI-powered features which help the appliance decide precisely how much water and how many wash cycles are required. The machines have sleek black and white colour variants and come with a front-loading design and a glass door for the same.

With smart control support, users can also control many aspects of the washing machine from an app on their smartphones, meaning you no longer require to stay close to your washing machine as it does your laundry.

Pricing and availability

The Samsung Ecobubble washing machine is priced starting at Rs 67,990 and goes all the way up to Rs 71,990 for the top-model.
