Samsung’s new washing machine is basically a bot that will do laundry for you

Samsung has unleashed its new line of Bespoke AI Washer Dryer combos in India. This is an all-in-one washing machine that aims to solve laundry day headaches for modern urban families. The company says the launch is a direct response to the growing need for a smarter way to handle clothes, especially with unpredictable weather and city pollution causing chaos.

The big sell is convenience, as you get a single, space-saving unit that handles both washing and drying, meaning you can finally stop hauling wet clothes across the room. The rated capacity is 12kg for washing, while drying gets a lower 7kg capacity.

Of course, since this is a Samsung appliance, it’s unsurprising to see it absolutely packed with clever tech. Its AI Wash feature is the main event, using five different sensors to figure out your load’s weight, fabric type, and even how dirty the clothes are. It then automatically tweaks the water and detergent levels for the best results without any waste.

The unit also has an Auto Dispense system that holds up to a month’s worth of detergent and softener, so you just load it and forget it. An AI Control panel even learns your washing habits over time to suggest your favourite cycles.

Samsung is also pushing the machine’s efficiency and fabric care credentials. An AI Energy mode apparently slashes energy use by up to 70 per cent, and the digital inverter motor is built to be quiet and durable, backed by a massive 20-year warranty. If you’re in a hurry, a SuperSpeed cycle can blitz through a full load in just 39 minutes.

For tougher stains, the AI Ecobubble technology promises to improve soil removal by 20%. Other handy tricks include an Air Wash function to deodorise items without water and a Wrinkle Prevent feature managed through the SmartThings app to reduce your ironing time.

This new range of laundry wizards is now available across India through Samsung’s website, retail stores, and major e-commerce platforms. Prices start at Rs 63,990.
