Following the launch of the mid-range Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 last week, the focus has now shifted to budget A-series phones. The next Galaxy A phone is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy A27 and now it has surfaced on a benchmarking platform revealing its key specifications. The smartphone is expected to arrive as the successor to last year’s Galaxy A26.
Samsung Galaxy A27 Geekbench details
The Samsung Galaxy A27 is listed on Geekbench with a model number SM-A276B. It mentions a motherboard codenamed ‘parrot’ and it comprises four cores clocked at 1.80GHz and another four cores ticking at 2.40GHz. This suggests that the device could be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor that is quite dated now. As per the listing, the smartphone will pack 6GB RAM and we can expect more options at launch. It will ship with Android 16 OS out of the box.
In the Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the Samsung Galaxy A27 scores 777 and 1,802 points respectively.
The rest of the details of the Galaxy A27 remain under the wraps for now. The device with the same model number was spotted on IMEI database. The Galaxy A26 5G debuted last March, so its successor is due and the launch might be around the corner.

We can expect the upcoming offering to retain the same design as the last year’s model, since the latest Galaxy A57 and A37 come with no design changes compared to their predecessor.
To recall, the Galaxy A26 5G arrived with a 120Hz AMOLED screen, a 5,000mAh battery, and Exynos 1380 chipset. The phone is also eligible for six years of software updates. It was launched at a price tag of Rs 24,999.
