After being limited to phones and tables, Samsung Browser is now available on Windows devices globally. The stable release follows after months of beta testing. The browser packs various features along with agentic AI capabilities in partnership with Perplexity.
Samsung Browser expands beyond phones and tablets
Samsung is embedding the Perplexity assistant in its browser. It can understand natural language prompts, analyse on-screen content in real-time, as well as, activity across tabs. Users can ask the assistant to create a 4-day travel itinerary based on the page currently in view. The new system can summarise content, manage multiple tabs, compare information, and navigate browsing history.
Samsung Browser also offers seamless cross-device functionality across computers, smartphones, and tablets. This means that you can start a task on one device and continue it on another. Browsing sessions, open tabs, AI interactions can be synced across devices. The browser also supports bookmark syncing. It’s worth noting that this feature relies on Samsung Account and Continuity Service or Galaxy Connect app on the PC.
