Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event: How to watch, start time, and expected launches

Samsung is kicking off its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026 today, and all signs point to a familiar February ritual: new Galaxy S phones, new Galaxy Buds, and a renewed pitch around Galaxy AI. The event takes place in San Francisco at 10AM PT, which translates to 11:30PM IST for viewers in India.

While Samsung hasn’t officially named the devices, the company has already teased the next-generation Galaxy S series, widely expected to land as the Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Pre-reservations are live in India, which is usually a reliable hint that something big is about to drop. Here’s when and where you can catch the Unpacked 2026 event and what you can expect.

How to watch the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event live

Samsung’s launch will be streamed on Samsung.com, the Samsung Newsroom, and the brand’s official YouTube channel. If you’re in India, you’ll need to stay up late. The livestream begins at 11:30PM IST.

The company’s messaging this year leans heavily on “seamless” Galaxy AI integration, with promises that the experience will feel intuitive from the moment you pick up the phone. So, it’s safe to say that software and on-device intelligence will be central to the S series story, not just camera tweaks and chipset upgrades.

Samsung has also opened pre-reservations in India via a Rs 999 Galaxy Pre-reserve VIP Pass. Buyers get benefits worth Rs 2,699 in the form of an e-Store voucher, along with additional perks. Those who go on to pre-order an S26 device will be eligible for a complimentary storage upgrade to from 256GB to 512 GB as well. And, these offers are available on Croma too. There’s also a daily Rs 5,000 voucher draw and a grand Rs 50,000 voucher up for grabs.

Samsung Galaxy S series and Galaxy Buds: What to expect

Based on early reports, Samsung is likely to unveil three flagship phones: Samsung Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. The focus appears to be on simplifying everyday interactions and embedding Galaxy AI more deeply into core features such as photography, productivity, and system-level suggestions.

Alongside the phones, the Galaxy Buds 4 series is rumoured to make an appearance. The lineup is expected to include the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro. Standard black and white colour options are likely, while the Buds 4 Pro could also arrive in an Apricot finish, potentially as an online-exclusive shade.
