The year 2025 is about to end, and while we are all waiting for 2026’s Galaxy S series flagships, Samsung appears to have a year-end surprise for us. The South Korean brand may launch its much-awaited triple-fold next month, and its exact date and key specs are already all over the Internet.
Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, the device may get a dedicated launch event. If you are into foldables or just curious about what Samsung has in store for you next month, continue to read.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold launch date (expected)
According to a report from The Chosun, Samsung may launch the Galaxy Z TriFold on December 5 globally. Further, it states that the launch will be held at a separate event, although it’s unclear if it will be a physical event or a virtual unveiling.
Samsung, however, is yet to confirm the phone’s launch, but if the launch is indeed happening next month, we should get an announcement by this week or the week after.
Since it will be a TriFold phone, expect the device to be pretty expensive, as no other brand is commercially offering a triple-fold phone out of China, as of now. We are expecting a price of over Rs 2 lakh.
Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold key features
The Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to feature a 6.5-inch outer display and a larger 10-inch flexible inner display. Notably, the Z Fold 7 has a 6.5-inch outer screen and an 8-inch inner display. Both screens are expected to feature 120Hz refresh rate and have higher brightness.

It’s unclear if it will feature a Snapdragon processor or an Exynos chipset. But it’s speculated to pack a 5,600mAh battery, larger than the Z Fold 7’s 4,400mAh cell. Despite being a triple-fold phone with a comparatively big battery, it may still measure around 4.2mm in thickness, which is quite impressive. When folded, it may measure around 44mm.
