Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 gets much-awaited multipoint connectivity

Sennheiser today launched the much-anticipated software update for its flagship Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds in India. The firmware upgrade offers Bluetooth multipoint, which allows users to switch instantly between two paired devices. Both Android and iOS users can make the most of this update using the Smart Controls App and enjoy high-resolution sound mode with only a tap.

So, whether you’re streaming a podcast and want to shift to a video call or are catching up on your favourite television series on a tablet, users can achieve that with multipoint. It also switches back to the original audio source once you answer a call mid-stream. In fact, users can enjoy switching seamlessly with multipoint across various codecs, including supported ones such as aptX Adaptive, and SBC and is compatible with several mobile operating systems.

With multipoint, Sennheiser paves the way for clarity with its high-resolution sound mode. It features a 24-bit depth and 96 kHz sample rate capability, which enables acoustics comparable to a wired headphone. For a noisy environment, such as public transportation, Momentum True Wireless 3 uses the codec’s data scaling capabilities to bring in connection integrity without any trouble.

If you’re wondering where to get your hands on the latest update, multipoint and high-resolution modes are available after upgrading Momentum True Wireless 3 to its latest firmware (release 2.10.19 or higher). However, ensure you have the Smart Controls App updated beforehand.
