How to sort and filter message requests on Instagram

Instagram is a platform that allows creators and businesses to reach their audience through posts, reels, and stories. It also goes the other way around, allowing fans and customers to directly message the creators or businesses.

However, with such an easy way of conversing with anyone, people can end up sending spam messages. Instagram has a good way of dealing with messages sent by those who do not follow you. It lets users send a message request.

Creators or businesses have to go through each message request and accept or decline the request manually, which is a cumbersome process, especially when you have thousands of requests in your DMs.

Instagram, however, recently announced an update for DMs on the platform that helps you manage message requests better. In this article, we’ll show you the new DM updates and tell you how you can use the new features to sort and filter your messages on the platform. So read on.
