Tecno just dropped its latest budget 5G phone in India, the Spark Go 5G, with an aggressive price tag of just Rs 9,999. Read on to learn everything it has to offer.
Tecno Spark Go 5G: Specs and availability
The Tecno Spark Go 5G rocks a massive 6.74-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a ‘Dynamic Port’ feature that handles notifications around its punch-hole camera, just like the iPhone.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400, an octa-core processor built on a 6nm process. This is paired with 4GB of RAM.
You also get 128GB of internal storage that is expandable with a microSD card. Tecno promises this setup will deliver up to five years of lag-free performance, running Android 15 with the company’s HiOS 15 skin on top.

The battery is a beefy 6,000mAh unit supported by 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. One of the coolest tricks up its sleeve is the ‘No Network Communication’ mode, which allows for critical communication even without a mobile signal.
The company also improved connectivity by including 4×4 MIMO and 5G carrier aggregation for a more stable connection. The phone includes an Ella AI assistant with features like live language translation and call noise suppression.
For photos, it uses a 50MP main camera on the back capable of shooting 2K video. The front has a 5MP selfie camera. Other nice touches include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP64 dust and splash resistance, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Tecno Spark Go 5G will be available from August 21. It comes in a single 4GB + 128GB model and will be sold in four colours including Ink Black, Sky Blue, Turquoise Green, and a heritage-inspired Bikaner Red.
