Last month, Vivo announced the T5x smartphone in India. Now the brand has officially confirmed that it is launching a new model in the lineup called the Vivo T5 Pro 5G. It will be arriving as the successor to last year’s Vivo T4 Pro 5G. Vivo has also shared key specifications of the upcoming offering ahead of the official announcement.
Vivo T5 Pro 5G India launch date revealed
The Vivo T5 Pro 5G is set to launch in India on April 15. It will be available from Flipkart, Vivo’s official website, and offline retail stores across the country. The device will be offered in Light Blue and Black shades. As per the microsite, the phone will retain the same design as its predecessor with a pill-shaped camera module on the rear panel.
Vivo has confirmed that the T5 Pro 5G will be backed by a 9020 mAh battery unit. It is touted to be the slimmest smartphone in this segment with a mammoth battery, measuring 8.25 mm. The phone is said to be equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. Up front, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G features a flat AMOLED display bearing a 1.5K resolution and a centre-aligned punch hole cutout. Software-wise, the device will ship with pre-installed OriginOS 6 out of the box.

The rest of the details of the Vivo T5 Pro 5G have not been revealed yet. Vivo will be revealing more specs and features of the smartphone leading up to the launch event.
Leaks suggest that the Vivo T5 Pro 5G will come with a 144Hz display and a 50MP main rear camera. It’s predecessor debuted at a starting price tag of Rs 27,999.
