Vivo recently launched the Vivo T5x 5G in India, and it appears to be gearing up to launch a new T-series phone called the Vivo T5 Pro. Tipster Yogesh Brar has shared an X post revealing key specifications of the device. The leaked details suggest that the T5 Pro could be based on an iQOO phone that will be launching soon in China.
Vivo T5 Pro key specifications tipped
According to the tipster, the Vivo T5 Pro will feature an AMOLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will come preloaded with OriginOS 6-based Android 16 and is expected to offer longer software support for multiple years.
The tipster did not mention the chipset powering the T5 Pro, but confirmed that it will house a massive 9,020mAh battery with 90W rapid charging. The rest of its specifications remain under wraps. Considering that the previous generation featured a periscope camera, it is likely that the T5 Pro may also inherit it.
There is a possibility that the T5 Pro could be a slightly modified version of the iQOO Z11, which is set to launch today (March 26) in China. As per reports, it features a 6.83-inch OLED LTPS screen that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will feature the Dimensity 8500 chip and a 9,020mAh battery with 90W fast charging.
The Z11 has a 16MP camera on the front and a 50MP dual-camera setup on the back. It offers other features such as a plastic frame, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and an IP68/69-rated dust- and water-resistant body.
Vivo T5 Pro launch timeframe (rumoured)
While the tipster has claimed that the Vivo T5 Pro is “coming soon,” he did not mention a specific launch window. Most likely, the T5 Pro may go official in April, but only after the Vivo V70 FE, which is currently being teased in India.
