Vivo X300 Ultra key specifications leaked well before official announcement

Previously announced Vivo X-series Ultra-branded flagships, such as the Vivo X200 Ultra and Vivo X100 Ultra, have remained confined to the Chinese market. However, reports suggest that the Vivo X300 Ultra may hit the global market, including India, in the second quarter of this year. In China, it is said to launch as early as March.

Ahead of the official announcement, tipster Debayan Roy has shared the key specifications of the device.

Vivo X300 Ultra specifications (rumoured)

According to the tipster, the Vivo X300 Ultra will feature a 6.82-inch OLED LTPO display offering a smooth 2K resolution. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.

The device is said to pack a massive 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. It will reportedly run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.

It goes without saying that photography will be the Vivo X300 Ultra’s biggest strength. The phone is tipped to feature a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus support. On the rear, it is expected to house a triple-camera setup headlined by a 200MP main camera with continuous optical zoom support.

The primary sensor will be accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. Other reported features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C (Gen 3.2) port, and an IP68/69-rated chassis.

Vivo X300 Max in works

The Vivo X300 Ultra’s China launch is also expected to coincide with the arrival of the Vivo X300 Max, which is said to be a larger sibling of the existing X300. The Max variant is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, it may be powered by the Dimensity 9500 chipset and backed by a 7,000mAh battery. For photography, the device could feature a 50MP selfie camera and a 200MP main camera at the rear, accompanied by an ultra-wide lens and a mid-tier periscope telephoto camera. This model is likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.
