Vivo has quietly launched the Vivo Y31d in select global markets, including Cambodia and Vietnam. The device joins the Y31 lineup with a familiar design language but brings a few notable changes, particularly in battery capacity and chipset choice, which set it apart from the existing models.
Vivo Y31d: Specs and features
The Vivo Y31d is powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset, making it a 4G-only smartphone. It runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6 layered on top. The handset features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,570 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 1,250 nits.
One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo Y31d is its 7,200mAh battery. Vivo claims the battery can deliver extended usage, including long gaming sessions and nearly two days of continuous video playback. The phone supports 44W fast charging and it also includes bypass charging.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo Y31d sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary lens. On the front, it features an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
For security, the Y31d has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone has stereo speakers with a high-volume mode and carries an IP68/69/69+ rating for dust and water resistance.
Vivo Y31d: Price and availability
The Vivo Y31d is available in Glow White and Starlight Grey colour options. Pricing details have not been revealed yet. The device is currently listed on Vivo’s official websites in Cambodia and Vietnam. There is no clarity at this stage on whether the Vivo Y31d will be launched in India.
