Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro offers a good balance of aesthetics, cameras, and performance

Xiaomi has updated the CIVI lineup with the launch of the Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro in China. The latest smartphone brings a new design and boasts vibrant colours. Its key highlights include a quad-curved OLED screen for crisp content consumption and triple cameras for photobombing.

Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro key features and highlights

The Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro offers a balance of camera features and performance. Having said that, let’s jump straight to its cameras first, followed by the raw hardware. It has a triple rear camera system on a circular camera island.

The setup is led by a 50MP Summilux sensor with OIS support. It is assisted by a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. It also has a 12MP ultrawide sensor for those group shots.

At the helm, the CIVI 5 Pro packs the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It is assisted by LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage for faster file transfer. It also houses a three-dimensional convex ring cold pump for thermals, ensuring the device stays cool even during marathon sessions.

To handle all that, there’s the 6,000mAh battery inside. It is expected to offer more than a day of battery life and also charge faster with the 67W fast charging speed.

Coming to the screen, it’s comparatively compact with a 6.55-inch quad-curved OLED display that refreshes at 120Hz. Despite all these specifications and features, the device manages to stay thin and light. It has a 7.45mm thickness and weighs 184 grams.

Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro price and availability

If all that sounds good, you can get the Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro starting at CNY 2,999 (about Rs 35,800). It comes in Nebula Purple, Sakura Pink, and the standard black and white shades. It is currently exclusive to China but should be available globally.
